System Details: 34 modules, 8.39 kWh (DC), installation date - 5 November 2021, 12,000 kWh year, % supplied annually is 65%. We have done all of the other energy efficiency things (and more) that a person can do in a home. What made you go solar?
Wanted to go solar for some 40+ years and finally did when 5 1/2 years ago, the price of modules, inverters, installation price became affordable.
What tips do you have for others that want to go solar?Become knowledgeable about solar energy and the technology. Ask questions to solar professionals. Talk with at least 3 solar energy companies. Make sure you are getting the SREC benefits and not being taken by the solar company.
