Is your organization interested in applying for funding to deliver one of the Climate and Equitable Jobs Act (CEJA) workforce programs? The Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity (DCEO) invites you to attend a planning workshop to prepare to apply for funding. During the workshop, we’ll provide details about each of the different workforce programs and what you can do right now to prepare.  

This CEJA Workforce Program Planning Workshop will take place on two different dates (identical content): 

• Tuesday, February 14, 2023 from 3:30pm-5:00pm.  Meeting Registration - Zoom

• Wednesday, February 15, 2023 from 12:00pm-1:30pm. Meeting Registration - Zoom

After a 60-minute presentation, you’ll have an optional opportunity to join a breakout group to meet other organizations in your region and explore potential partnerships. DCEO strongly encourages applications that are team led. 

Notices of Funding Opportunities (NOFOs) will be released starting in late February and will continue through April for the following programs: 

• Climate Works Pre-Apprenticeship Program 
• Clean Energy Contractor Incubator Program  
• Clean Jobs Workforce Network Program 
• Energy Transition Navigators Program 
• Energy Transition Barrier Reduction Program 
• Returning Resident Clean Jobs Program
