Kevin McKee 204 Collinsville Road, Troy cell: 618 365-0428 Local volunteers “Solar Ambassador” for the Illinois Solar Energy Association, a non-profit organization that promotes solar energy for Illinois, will explain how they power their home with the sun! The McKee family has been using solar power for six years and can answer your questions about available technologies, processes, costs, and other matters. This informal “Solar Social” will occur on Saturday, July 15, 2017 from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm at the McKee residence, 204 Collinsville Road in Troy. It’s free and open to the public. Interested, but can’t get to the Solar Social? The McKees, along with other area homeowners, will exhibit their solar homes during the Illinois Solar Tour on Saturday, October 7th.
