This 8-hour course uses a combination of lecture and classroom activities to offer a comprehensive
understanding of solar photovoltaic, medium temperature solar water heating and small-scale wind
technologies.  The course will consist of

  1. an overview of the present commercial state of the
  2. technologies
  3. the market growths of the technologies in Illinois, the US and globally
  4. costs, prices,policies and incentives that drive the economics,
  5. generic renewable energy technology and business
  6. tools available,
  7. renewable energy business models for direct involvement or peripheral operations
  8. sales and marketing tools.

Instructor

Mark Burger
Mark is Principal Consultant for Kestrel Development Company, providing consulting services on renewable energy policy, technology and market development.  He has over 25 years experience in renewable energy and building energy applications.  Marks is also the ISEA Board President.
