Join ISEA and Intelligent Generation for a webinar on C&I storage!

With the rebates in CEJA in Illinois, tax incentives in the Inflation Reduction Act, and advancements in storage technology, the time has never been better for Illinois business customers to reap the advantages of solar paired with energy storage. This webinar will go in depth into the available incentives as well as the ways adding energy storage systems to C&I solar installations will enhance project returns and create more project value for developers and EPCs while customers enjoy reduced electricity costs, environmental benefits, and potentially protect their operation from outages. Case studies will also be presented from existing successful projects in Illinois

    Speaker:

Speaker: David Braun, Vice President - Sales and Marketing, Intelligent Generation

Zoom link will be included in your registration confirmation email. Please sign in to your ISEA account prior to registering.

If you would like to invite up to two employees from your company who are not a part of your membership bundle, you may add them as a "guest" during the registration process.

In the clean energy future, every community is a host community for energy generation. Former mine lands and brownfields in our communities present an opportunity to host low-impact renewable energy development and to create value on lands that are frequently difficult to develop, as described in our first workshop.  But how does a community discern whether these marginal lands are able to be developed?  Who can communities turn to for assistance?  What financial resources can a community tap to enable desired renewable energy development?

The second workshop in the Low-Impact Solar series will address:

    1. The importance of proactively engaging the community in the low-impact solar energy development process.
    2. Technical assistance to help understand opportunities and learn from previous projects.
    3. Accessing funding from the Federal and State governments that prioritize remediation and energy redevelopment of marginal lands

The Great Plains Institute will facilitate the workshop, featuring speakers from Illinois and Federal agencies working on remediation and solar redevelopment, the solar industry, The Nature Conservancy’s Mining the Sun program, and the Great Lakes Environmental Justice Thriving Communities Technical Assistance Center.

This workshop will be held virtually on April 8 from 10:30 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. Central.
